Documenting the Pilgrimage

The temples sprawl all around Cambodia. This is quite the holy spot for Buddhists who travel here from locations all around the world. You can tell what sect they are from based on their robes. I was able to sit with one for a few hours and we watched dozens of monks walk by and he could tell me exactly where each one was from based on the slight color variation in their robes and the way it was folded.
Also, if you all want to see some of the behind-the-scenes activity here and see the book-cover selection process for "A World in HDR", visit the Stuck In Customs Facebook Fan Page, where we have a discussion forum. Once you are in there, just click on "Discussions", and you can see the four images we were considering for the cover. Feel free to give your opinions in there... I put one of the other favorites here below! :)
That FB Fan Page is also a good place to have "General Discussions". The only bad thing about the blog is that each discussion is tied to a single post. That's great, and people always seem to have interesting ideas and experiences to share. But I wanted you to know that you are more than welcome to start up any discussion you wish inside the FB Fan Page Discussions area...

Again, a modern photo. I visited the Open Culture House in Linz (Austria) and took this photo of a video installation by accident. The colors were penetrative by my feeling. And so I gave the picture a softer color paint. I hope you enjoy it!

Processing something or other....

It has been exceedingly hard to regain my creative momentum.
I rode quite a wave there with being published , freelancing until 21 March last year.
I ask myself why I stopped completely and didnt just minimize the intensity.
So all I'm gonna do is try not to overhype my uploads to much so I dont embarass myself and make u roll your eyes. This is what it looks like while I'm trying to return to form.
I try to surround the workspoce with little visual delights while I attempt to knock something out ....
something noteworthy
something wow-worthy.
Send me an inspiring mail, a "get your ass out of the rut "-mail....I dunno...any sort of mail

Crumbling in acid

My return back to Denbigh Asylum on 11th June 2008, with 3 friends who shall be known only by their codenames "Teach", "The Undertaker" and "Nursie"
The darkness at the start of the corridor really caught my eye. I converted to b+w first then decided, hey, i've not done an urban acid yet :P
Book-Club

I was at the Dufferin Park farmer's market when I noticed these girls in the back of a vendor's van, hovering over a book...The light was fantastic so I steadied as much as I could and snapped this pic...A little un-sharp, but forgivable I hope.
Salinity Processes in the Upper Ocean Regional Study (SPURS) (201209040009HQ)
Two EcoMapper AUVs (autonomous underwater vehicles) are seen onboard the the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution research vessel Knorr on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, in Woods Hole, Mass. The EcoMappers will be deployed in the Atlantic Ocean as part of the Salinity Processes in the Upper Ocean Regional Study (SPURS) which is set to sail on Sept. 6. The NASA-sponsored expedition will sail to the North Atlantic's saltiest spot to get a detailed, 3-D picture of how salt content fluctuates in the ocean's upper layers and how these variations are related to shifts in rainfall patterns around the planet.
