KYRILL // RE-THINK
edit image
I thought I should re-edit this image for it did*nt actually suit to what Kyrill did in Europe.
I want to remind you of the poeple that died cause of kyrill. I want to remind that global warming could be the reason for this. I ask what will happen if we do not re-think our habits ...
For technical questions : I converted the original to b/w, used selectiv level-adjustment, added a gradient map for more black.

Window of Pelgrimsvaderkerk
edit image
On the left you see the original photo of a window of the Pelgrimvaderskerk. On the right, I tried to correct the perspective so it looks like I photographed the window head on. Since I am normally not much of a image-editor, it was fun to play around. :)

---

Silver Evo 8 MR rear 3/4 view B&W
edit image
Image digitally blended using at least 3 images as the light was awful at this time of day (early morning). Blending done using Enfuse LR plugin to begin with, then refined manually in Photoshop where necessary.

Monochrome conversion done in Photoshop.

View full (original) size for optimum quality.

Bristle Galaxy

Second of three images in a row, blue bristles of a very large round brush. This is not a macro, but a filled frame shot of a brush used for cleaning parking lots. I found great heavy equipment and machinery at Empire in Mesa, Arizona last August and took many shots in the early morning. Until I recently learned to edit images in the RAW format, I had previously been unsatisfied with my early experiments. Must be in a blue mood of sorts, three in a row on this subject.

Never Felt A Thing - Ottawa 05 07

I love the way the roadway looks curvy across the top of this image. That's my left arm and hand.
I must have pressed the shutter release while my right hand was in motion as I brought my hand up to shoot- on the fly. The standard shutter release speed on this must be slow . . . . riding my bicycle & moving the camera distorted the image as you see here.
This could be fun to try on purpose!

Evil Titan
edit image
Colorized image of Titan from Cassini images (UV3, MT2, MT3). This was the first pass for the final image (the previous image). The UV3 image was taken closer to Titan than the others, giving Titan a malicious red glow I kind of liked.

You Can't Touch Me When I'm Up Here

Project 365: Looking For The Lost Self

My soul may have been ripped out; I may have been deceived; I might have been blinded. But when I am the one to strip away all the things that distracted me, I am left with only one thing: myself.

I’m the one to take myself to the place where I feel safe.

Edit Notes:
Both images were taken with Procamera. The one of myself using the self-timer in Procamera.
Both images were edited in Snapseed and noise reduced in PS Express.
Superimpose was used to merge both the images.
I chose the “stringy” filter in Pixrl-o-matic as it is one of the many images I know that picks up only the darker pixels in an image and won’t show up on ‘white’.
The image was brightened in Snapseed to get rid of as much ‘halo’ and then 2 copies blended in multiply mode in Image Blender.

Dawn's Colors A - Ottawa 02 08
edit image
All the colors of the rainbow are right here. I edited this to bring out the submerged colors within. Like adjusting a color tv's colors. Stretched the image above so if your car was parked here and now doesn't fit in the garage anymore . . . it's all my fault.

Editing this image of the white rose above brought out some previously hidden and unexpected tinges of pink and red at the fringes of the rose's petals.
