Mary McQueen, William Rhett and 3 other unnamed children demonstrate use of a traditional joggling board, Charleston, SC. National Geographic Magazine photo originally published in March 1939. Photo was probably taken in the summer of 1938. Location is believed to be the garden of 69 Church Street which was then the home of Charleston artist, Alice Ravenel Huger Smith.
