ezimba-web- Blends Certified Organic

ezimba is a web site that can apply different imaging effects.
www.ezimba.com/index.html
I used one picture for all the effects just for consistency for comparison. The title for each photo consists of the category of the effect and the name of the effect. Some effects would be better used on a different image. There are some effects also that appear to do the same thing in different effect categories.
Ezimba also has a Facebook app, Google Android app, and a free iPhone app. Please note that the free iPhone app puts a small logo on the edited image. You can buy the paid ezimba app and not have the logo.

Trying the "Second-Draft"
I have been trying "the second-draft", originally proposed by Josh (see his second-drafting) ; compile several indexcards to higher knowledge.
I used B6 size indexcard because 5x8 card is not available in Japan. I feel comfort with portrait, not landscape. Then the width is almost same as 3x5 card.
The post-its means separation of pile I made before. You see it on picture "Task Force". After the second-draft, the post-its are removed. Because information on the cards are compiled on the 5x8 card, and now safe to return to the Dock.

SP 1258 on display at Martinez
[The locomotive] was one of 38 SP built S-12 switch engines. It was one of 6 built in SP's Los Angles shop's as LA Shop job # 8. Weighing nearly 80 tons, and operating at 200 psi steam pressure the 1258 and her sisters were the state of the art of steam efficiency at their time of conception in 1921. She spent most of her life working in the northern California area. Southern Pacific retired all of it's steam power by 1956, and the 1258 sat on the deadline track at Oakland yard waiting for the scrappers torch, when in 1959 she was donated to the City of Martinez as a museum piece. She was moved to Rankin Park in the hills of Martinez, where she sat until being moved adjacent to the Southern Pacific, now Union Pacific main line at the Martinez Amtrak station in the mid 1980's.

The Royal Yacht Britannia 25-05-2006
This magnificent ship has played host to some of the most famous people in the world. But, above all, she was home to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family. Now in Edinburgh you are welcome on board to discover the heart and soul of this most special of royal residences.
The Royal Yacht Britannia is one of the world's most famous ships. Launched at John Brown's Shipyard in Clydebank in 1953, the Royal Yacht proudly served Queen and country for 44 years. During that time Britannia carried The Queen and the Royal Family on 968 official voyages, from the remotest regions of the South Seas to the deepest divides of Antarctica.
Britannia is now permanently moored in Edinburgh's historic port of Leith and visitors can discover what life was like on board the ship for the Royal Family and crew.
On 11 December 1997 Britannia was decommissioned and became a 5-star visitor attraction in Edinburgh after the city bid to become her new home and one of the UK's most prestigious hospitality venues.

Cats n' Racks! #7
You know that popular internet meme, Cats 'n Racks? Well, here's little Pipsqueak in a rack. ...No, silly! Not that kind of rack! Get your mind out of the gutter! It's a towel rack - if the cat can climb on top of something, she'll find a way to get up there. Slowly but surely, Pippie is conquering every vertical surface in the apartment.

A cup of café
Exposition point, distance point "as is"
I was sitting outside the café near station Saint Lazar waiting and
yes, this was taken on the street before I tasted the café.
first uploaded June 2006, taken while experimenting
(Almost 7000 viewed it, 45 fav and 35 comments, I never dreamed while playing with point shoot exposition, outside a cafe, across Saint Lazar station, I would get so much interst with it!)

This is not an HDR. I haven't uploaded a normal photo to Flickr in a long time so I thought I would do that again.
I love the depth of field in this photo, and how the backgroud is so out of focus.

Episode 2:
Seville Bicycle Lanes
In the last six years or so Seville has been busy building an extensive bicycle lane network, garnering major international attention. With 120+ kms of green paved paths they took the portion of trips made on bikes from less than half a percent to a whopping seven percent in five years - that's 14x more cyclists!!!!
What most impressed me, however, was the creativity of the routing. These green lanes jump from roadside to sidewalk and everywhere in between, are buffered from traffic by these curbstones, bollards, and even a handrail in some places but they keep going and obviously are working. Seville's immense medieval downtown is a boon - the distances are too far to go on foot, but the roads too narrow for cars to travel. Bikes are a perfect solution.
People are quick to acclaim bike sharing, but let's not forget that just because a bike is available doesn't always make it a friendly way to get around.
