The Wikimedia Commons website offers a multitude of historical images with no restrictions on use. (Search for vintage KS stereo images, for example.) This Conklin & Kleckner stereoview, titled Family in front of a sod house probably was filmed in the second half of the nineteenth century. A similar style stereoview, showing bridge construction, dates to 1875.

The reverse of a Conklin and Kleckner describes their oeuvre:

The Library of Congress website offers a multitude of historical images, many with no known restrictions on use. This image is derived from the American Colony stereograph (circa 1900-1920) titled To Sinai via the Red Sea, Tor, and Wady Hebran. Interior of the church seen from the apse Monastery of St. Catherine. .
