The Library of Congress website offers a multitude of historical images, many with no known restrictions on use. This image is derived from the circa 1880 C. R. Savage stereograph titled Looking up the Kanyon. Depicted is a section of American Fork Kanyon, Wahsatch Range, Utah.

The Library of Congress website offers a multitude of historical images, many with no known restrictions on use. This image is derived from the 1925 Keystone stereograph titled Woodward Avenue from City Hall, Detroit, Mich.. Hudson's department store, visible in the background,was the tallest department store in the world until 1961. It was demolished in 1998. The billboard above the National Clothing Co. advertises silk: "Every woman can now afford to wear silk. Underwear - Gloves - Hosiery" The original image has much readable text, including license plate numbers, and some has been noted above.
