Members of 3rd Special Forces Group (SFG) Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) 342 pull security while other members of their team move into Mangara village, Afganistan. The ODA arrived at the village on Aug. 18, 2002, to search for suspected hidden muntitions which had been reported. In addition to pulling security and providing covering fire if needed these members of the ODA keep an eye out for individuals attempting to flee the village who could be Alquida or their supporters.
